Winner of this year’s Mothers Day promotion on the Joy FM’s Saturday morning program ‘Home Affairs‘, last weekend saw her living room wholly transformed.
Madam Anita Doris Gbozo now has her room fully furnished with latest furniture set, curtains, carpet, 40-inch Samsung television set, center table and a set of dinning table valued at Ȼ30,000
Madam Gbozo and her daughter Evangeline Aryee, could not hide their excitement realisng how being ardent listeners of the Home Affairs program has brought meaning to their life.
The promotion dubbed: Mama’s Room Makeover, was a phone-in program ran ahead of the Mother’s Day celebrations. Participants were asked to send pictures of their mother’s living room to show how it looks like and a selfie of themselves with their mums. Additionally theywere asked to write ten words to explain why their mothers deserve a room makeover.
After a panel of judges had gone through, it was the entry by Evangeline Aryee, an Aviation student, that won the contest.
About 4pm Saturday, a truck loaded with the items led by the the CEO of Kets Mahogany limted Mr Tobby and his team arrived at the residence of Madam Gbozo at Teshie Koodzor. The team removed everything from the room and replaced it with the new ones.
In an interview with Madam Anita Nuerki Gbozo thanked the The Multimedia Group and sponsors of the program for giving a facelift to her room.
The host of the program Edem Knight-Tay assured the program will be exciting in the coming years as the sponsors have promised to increase the sponsorship to cover three winners.
