Akufo-Addo decorated with nat’l award in Liberia

President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has been decorated with the highest national award of Liberia at a State Dinner and Investiture ceremony held in his honour by President Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf at the commencement of his two-day visit to Liberia.

The Ghanaian leader was on Friday, 26 May 2017, decorated with the highest national award of Liberia, the Grand Order of the Most Venerable Order of the Knighthood of Pioneers.

He was honoured for his contribution towards the sustenance of lasting peace in the West African nation and the road to recovery.

President Akufo-Addo, early on was given the key to the city of Monrovia by Mayor Clara Doe, on his arrival in the capital city, Monrovia.
